AI Carbon Challenge - ADViCE

Below are individual AI challenges which can help decarbonise areas of Energy, Built Environment, Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors. The list was originally developed as part of the AI for Decarbonisation’s Virtual Centre for Excellence (ADViCE) as part of the challenges report. Each challenge has different components which can be filtered to focus on the sector, which grand challenge (as defined by the challenges report) they relate to, and the high-level AI capabilities required.

• Impact: What is the expected decarbonisation impact of solving this challenge?
• AI Suitability: How suitable is this problem in terms of being tackled by AI?
• Novelty: Have many people already looked into this problem?
